| Eligibility | Male and female amateur golfers 18 years of age and under as of the final round who is a legal resident of NC or SC, and who has not started college. |

| Registration Process |
Exempt players will be
accepted upon registration (allow 1-2 business days). The top ranked boys and girls who
have registered will be accepted on August 17th to reach our max field size (listed above). Those not accepted will be
placed on the waiting list in order based on their August 2023 Carolinas Junior
Rankings. |
| Format |
The championship format is 36-holes of stroke play. |
| Divisions |
Players will compete in divisions based on gender; there are no age divisions. |
| Course Setup |
Boys will play from approximately 6,626 yards par 70 Girls will play from approximately 6,048 yards par 72 |

Practice Round Information |
Available:
August 25th from 12:00pm-5:00pm Open tee times, you do not have to schedule a practice round for the 25th. If you would like to play on a alternate day, please call the number below to schedule. Practice Round Fee: Included in entry fee. Pro Shop Number: 828-437-2967 Begin calling for tee times: 8/1 Players must walk during practice rounds. |

| Spectator and Parent Policy | Spectator Information:
Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $40 per cart. Spectator carts are
restricted to the cart path at all times. Parent Policy: Spectators must remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. |
| Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the CGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament. If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from CGA events for 1 year.
Entry fee refund policy schedule: Open Date to Two Days Prior to Championship: Full refund minus $30.00 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into championship or sectional qualifier. Withdraw on day before or Championship: No-Shows: No refund for any reason. |
