Player Information

Registration Opens to Invited Players August 16 at 8:00 pm
Registration Deadline September 15 at 11:59 pm
Entry Fee(s) TYGA Members $150 per player
Non-Members $165 per player
Eligibility Entry is open to any invited* female and male amateur golfer ages 12-18 who has not started college and is a legal resident of North Carolina.  Invitations are sent to player that won their flight in a TYGA Event from Sept. 15, 2021* - Sept. 15, 2022.
*Excluding 2021 TYGA TOC.
Format Individual 36-hole stroke play with a NO MAX SCORE.
Division Boys' 12-13, Boys' 14-15 and Boys' 16-18
Girls' will be divided into divisions based on the number of entries.
TYGA reserves the right to modify divisions based on entries.
Starting Times Saturday: Triple Tee Start beginning at 12:00pm
Sunday: Triple Tee Start beginning at 8:30am.
Starting times will be posted 5 days in advance of tournament date.
Course Rotation Boys' 12-13 and all girls will play Orange and Black nines both days.
Boys' 14-15 will play Black and White nines on Saturday and White and Orange nines on Sunday.
Boys' 16-18 will play White and Orange nines on Saturday and Black and White nines on Saturday.
Course Setup* Boys’ 14-15 and 16-18 (one on each day)
Black and White - 6,506 yards, par 72
White and Orange - 6,471 yards, par 72
Boys’ 12-13  (same on both days)
Orange and Black - 5,530 yards, par 72 (Gray tees)
All girls  (same on both days)
Orange and Black - 5,530 yards, par 72 (Gray tees)

Field Size Boys' 16-18: 48 players
Boys' 14-15: 48 players
Boys' 12-13: 24 players
Girls' 12-18: 24 players
Electronic Measuring Devices Players may use an approved measuring device during this event.
Push/Pull Carts Push carts are allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments.
Caddie Information Caddies are NOT allowed.
Spectator and Parent Policy Spectator Information: Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $24 per cart. Spectator carts are restricted to the cart path at all times.
Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event online or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the tournament. If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.
*NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted TWO Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $30 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than two days before the tournament will not receive any refund.
