| Eligibility | Entry is open to any female and male amateur golfer ages 6-12 who has not started college and is a legal resident of North Carolina. |
| Format | Individual 9-hole stroke play with a maximum score of 8 on each hole. |
| Field Size | 40 players maximum |
| Starting Times |
Starting times will begin at 2:00pm Starting times will be posted 5 days in advance of tournament date. |
| Divisions |
Ages 6-7 Ages 8-9 Ages 10-12 TYGA reserves the right to modify divisions based on entries. |
| Course Setup |
Ages 6-7: 1200-1400 yards Ages 8-9: 1500-1700 yards Ages 10-12: 1900-2100 yards Yardages are subject to change. |
| Caddie Information | Caddies are REQUIRED and must be 16 years of age or older. |
| Electronic Measuring Devices | Players may use an approved measuring device during this event. |
| Push/Pull Carts | Push carts are allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments. |
| Parent & Spectator Policy | Spectator Information:
Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $10 per cart. Spectator carts are
restricted to the cart path at all times. Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. View our Parent & Spectator Policies for more information. |
| Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from
the event online
or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the
tournament.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be
suspended from TYGA events for 1 year. *NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted TWO Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $10 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than two days before the tournament will not receive any refund. |
| Prizes | Medals are awarded to each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up. |
| Handicap Posting | TYGA Tots rounds are not played on courses rated for the World Handicap System play and these scores cannot be posted for handicap purposes. |
