Player Information

Registration Opens	January 25 at 8:00 pm
Registration Deadline	February 24th at 11:59 pm
Entry Fee(s)	$700 per team
NEW ENTRY PROCESS Eligibility	1. Coach enters team on line (no registration fee at this time) at www.tygajuniorgolf.org at 8 pm. 2. All Teams will be placed on pending list. 3. Coaches should NC Junior Rankings January rankings (this is not your roster). 4. After one week (Wednesday-2/2/2022) we will accept schools based on power ranking (average ranking). After one week registration will switch to first come first served registration. 5. Coaches of accepted teams will receive email with tournament information and invoice by February 21, 2022. 6. Invoices will be sent and must be paid by March 3, 2022. 7. Coaches must submit final roster by 5 pm on March 3, 2022. 8. Round one pairings are posted on March 4, 2022.
Format	The championship is conducted at 36-holes of team and individual stroke play. Each team may be represented by five players and must return four individual 18-hole scores each day to qualify for the team championship. In case of a tie for the team championship, the fifth individual score from round two will be used to break the tie. If the fifth individual scores from round two are the same, the fifth individual scores from round one will be used to break the tie. If the fifth individual’s scores are the same on both days, the schools will share the championship team title. A tie for medalist will be shared.
Field Size	90 players maximum
Schedule	Friday, March 11, 2022 Coaches registration starting at 11:00 am Round one starting with 1:00 pm shotgun Tournament cookout for players and coaches after play Saturday, March 12, 2022 Round two 8:00am-10:00am starting times off 1/10 Tournament cookout for players and coaches after play Awards presentation Starting times will be posted 5 days in advance of tournament date.
Course Setup	6,500 yards Yardages are subject to change.
Caddie/Coach Information	Caddies are NOT allowed. One Coach per team
Electronic Measuring Devices	Players may use an approved measuring device during this event.
Push/Pull Carts	Push carts are *allowed and encouraged* at all TYGA tournaments.
Parent & Spectator Policy	Spectator Information: Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $25 per cart. Spectator carts are restricted to the cart path at all times. Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. Withdrawal and Refund Policy	If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event online or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the tournament. If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year. *NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted TWO Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $50 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than two days before the tournament will not receive any refund.
Prizes	Medals are awarded to each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up.
Tournament of Champions	Invitations for the 2022 Tournament of Champions will be extended to the medalist.
Exemptions Earned	Top 10 individuals receive exemption into TYGA Bojangles Junior
Handicap Posting	TYGA will not post scores to player's GHIN handicap record.
