Each club team will enter two, two-woman sides
each day. Each round’s score is the aggregate of the two, two-woman sides. Club teams may choose to
compete in the Championship Division (gross scores only) or the Carolinas
Division (net scores only). Round 1: Two-woman captain’s choice – each player tees off, then the team selects the best shot and each player hits the next shot from that spot and subsequently selected spots until the ball is holed. In the Carolinas Division, handicap strokes for the side are allocated based on 35% of the A player’s course handicap and 15% of the B player’s course handicap. Round 2: Four-ball stroke play (better ball of two). In the Carolinas Division, players receive 85% of their course handicaps. Round 3: Pinehurst alternate shot – each player tees off, then players switch balls and proceed to hit their partner’s ball on the second shot, then the side selects the ball to be played. Players then alternate shots from there until the ball is holed. In the Carolinas Division, handicap strokes for the side are allocated based on 60% of the A player’s course handicap and 40% of the B player’s course handicap.
