The North Carolina Senior Women's Amateur Championship began in 2004 and the North Carolina Super Senior Women's Amateur Championship began in 2023. The championships determine the senior women's champion and super senior women's champion of North Carolina. Both championships are conducted at 36 holes of stroke play. The competition includes gross and net scores and prizes are awarded to gross scores and one net place in each flight in each championship. Players are flighted before the first round within their championship based on their handicap index as of May 1, 2026. Entry is open to any female amateur golfer who has reached her 50th birthday by the start of competition (NC Senior Women's Amateur) or who has reached her 65th birthday by the start of competition (NC Super Senior Women's Amateur), is a legal resident of North Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®.
