53rd Twin States Junior Girls' Championship

The Twin States Junior Girls' Championship began in 1967 and has a very long history with many great champions. The Women's Carolinas Golf Association administered the championship until 2007 when the organization transferred the tournament to the Carolinas Golf Association. The championship is conducted at 36 holes of stroke play competition. There is only one division in this championship, but players are flighted by score after 18 holes. Entry is open to any female amateur golfer, ages 12-18 as of June 27, 2019, who has not started college, maintains a residence in North Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®.
