58 players braved blustery conditions for our eleventh Tuesday Medal of the season. Winds gusting made club selection tricky and put a premium on accuracy from tee to green.

Net Medal Highlights

Andrew Reid and Jack Docherty both fired a superb 65 (–6), but Reid’s back nine 30 (versus Docherty’s 32) secured him the Net Medal on countback. Simon Leonard’s 67 (–4) grabbed third place, and Stephen Gribben’s 68 (–3) claimed fourth spot.

Scratch Medal Results

Simon Leonard’s precise irons and calm putting delivered the Scratch Medal with a two-under 69, two shots clear of runner-up Stuart Dickson (70, –1). A tie for third at even-par 71 between Andrew Buttar, Davie Miller and Richie Elrick rounded out the podium.

Simon Leonard topped the earnings list with £20.17, combining his Division 2 win and a ‘2’ bonus.

Order of Merit

Davie Miller’s joint third place was enough to clinch the Scratch Order of Merit, wrapping up the season’s title one medal early edging out friend and rival Richie Elrick.

In the Nett Order of Merit, Stuart McIntosh maintains a slender lead, but Simon Leonard has closed the gap. With one medal remaining, Alex Andrews and Kevin Macdonald also remain in contention for the Nett title.

Congratulations to all medalists, purse winners, and everyone who battled the wind and the course. Next Tuesday we tee off for Medal No. 12, our last of the season—be ready for more testing conditions and those true-rolling greens!
