Welcome to the "SEG Senior Championship 2024" Event Portal

The SEG Seniors' Championship was held at Sheerness Golf Club on 22nd & 23rd July 2024.

A small field played over the two rounds for the Alan Hobson Trophy which was won in 2023 by Danny Holmes of Rochester & Cobham Golf Club. The wind provided a challenge on the first day and nobody broke par. Paul Marshall from Berkhamsted led after 18 holes with a 2 over par 74. Danny Holmes was one stroke behind.

The first round leaders go out last on the second day. When they approached the 18th green, the clubhouse leader was Dean Manning from Copthorne with a 5 over par total of 149. Paul Marshall returned with a total score of 150 and Danny Holmes completed the event with a total of 150 to win, and retain the title, by one stroke.
